Introducing James.
James Diamond, CEO and co-founder of AirAgri, is a passionate advocate for farmer safety and well-being. With deep roots in agriculture and technology, James has committed his career to creating solutions that ensure farmers return home safely every day. His leadership at AirAgri has driven the development of innovative safety monitoring systems tailored to the challenges faced by lone workers in remote farming areas.
James actively supports the Victorian Farmers Federation’s “Making Our Farms Safer” program, aligning with his mission to reduce fatalities and injuries among farmers. He views this initiative as more than just a safety campaign—it’s a vital platform for empowering farmers with the knowledge and tools to protect themselves and their families.
As a member of the Mental Health Steering Committee, James is eager to unite industry leaders and harness their diverse perspectives. He believes that mental resilience is as crucial as physical safety in the high-pressure environment of farming. Under his guidance, AirAgri has developed tools to support mental health in rural communities, including mental health assessment features in their app, aimed at breaking down the stigma around mental health in agriculture.
James Diamond’s commitment to farm safety and mental health is unwavering. Through his work with the VFF and the Steering Committee, he continues to drive initiatives that will have a lasting impact on the well-being of farmers across the country. We had the pleasure of meeting this true gentleman in person at the Mallee Machinery Field Day, where his friendliness and passion for the farming community shone through.
